November 5, 1968 Establishment of the company by Amiri Decree.
May 15, 1972 Inauguration of Gray Cement Plant with a production capacity of 300,000 tons per annum by H.H Shaikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the present Amir of Kuwait.
1978 Commissioning of the first & second extensions of Gray Cement Plant for increasing production capacity to 1,350,000 tons per annum.
1979 Commissioning of White cement plant with an annual production capacity of 75,000 metric tons.
1984 Commissioning of third extension of Gray Cement Plant to reach the current production level of 2,070,000 tons per annum.
July 1991 Resumption of production after liberation.
March 22, 1994 Signing of contract with PEG, Switzerland for consultation services for "KILN PROJECT."
May 1, 1995 Signing of contract with Al-Zabin, Kuwait for construction of company's "CEMENT HOUSE" headquarters.
July 16, 1996 Signing of contract with ICEC, Iran for conversion of one of the old Gray Cement Mills into White Cement Mill.
December 12, 1998 Moving the main office into "CEMENT HOUSE" headquarters.
