Kuwait Cement Company supplies different types of cement to Citizens, Industrial/Contracting companies and Government projects according to their needs. With the present substantial production capacity, the company is fully capable to meet all the future demands of cement required in the local markets. Sufficient reserves of raw material is stock-piled to meet any eventualities. The latest technology and expertise are applied in modernizing the existing gray cement mills, packing and bulk loading plants, with the aim of ensuring qualitative products and reducing cost of production. The company is in the process of relocating one of its existing gray mills and converting it into 19 tons/hr White cement mill. The goal of this project is to raise the existing production capacity of White cement to about 190,000 tons per year in order to meet additional future demands.

Out of the 4 Sales Centers destroyed during Iraqi invasion, 2 are already re-opened at Sabhan, which currently belongs to Shuwaikh Cement Company, and Amghara with the goal of helping the citizens to acquire their needs of cement from areas close to their construction site.

    Environmental Protection Policies
    Dedusting Filters
Our plant for gray cement was equipped with efficient mechanical filters system which was capable to dedust cement from more than 100,000 m3 of air/hr.

To meet international trends for further restriction of dust pollution, a new filter system was adopted, using the latest technology in that field limiting dust pollution in our plant beyond 50 milligram/m3 which meets the international standard in this respect. So, jet gas filters replaced the mechanical filters since 1989 while the mills continued with the efficient electrostatic filters. Jet Bag filters are fully automatic with 2 stage injector cleaning system by means of compressed air impulses.
